Chronology

Follow Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as their long-running rivalry reaches its climax. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same location was used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC television adaptation of Poldark. I actually enjoyed the series and watched it in its entirety in two days. I couldn’t pick a character that particularly stood out, the actors all do a fantastic job. I thought their facial expressions and the way they delivered the dialogue really added to the story. As an 80s fan, the decor, the clothing and of course the music were a fantastic bonus. Whoever was responsible for the music, they are a genius. The timing of certain songs was perfect. For me, the erotic scenes could have been less explicit, so I give it 9 stars instead of 10. I really hope a new season is made, I can’t wait to watch it!
