Acclaimed conductor Thibaut has leukemia and needs a bone marrow donor. After learning that he has been adopted, he finds his older brother, a musician and a factory worker. Their union leads him on a fraternal, musical journey after the city closes down Muzika B.V. A touching portrayal of the bond between two brothers on opposite sides of the social spectrum, what it means to win in life, and the consequences of a single parent’s decisions for the fate of their child. The script manages to mix funny dialogues, unexpected situations and serious moments. . What could have been "only" a sad drama escapes this trap. With excellent supporting roles by B Lavernhe and P Lottin, the bond and tension between the famous director and the amateur brass band member are brought to life. The storytelling and quality of the acting by E Courcol, M Tomersy, O Bonduel, I Muscari and K Amara combine to make this one of the great films I’ve seen this year.
