A unique profile of British pop star Robbie Williams. It took a year and a half to get permission to film the lavish dance sequence on Regent Street in London, as it is owned by the British royal family. Two nights before the scheduled filming, after spending a whole week rehearsing, Queen Elizabeth II died, and filming had to be postponed. Everyone had to be paid, including the shopkeepers and crew, and the production insurance did not cover losses due to the monarch’s death. The producers had to raise additional funds to film the sequence, which was filmed five months later. The title character, Robbie Williams, is portrayed as a chimpanzee. Robbie Williams is not actually a chimpanzee.
