Chronology

The pilot transports the air marshal accompanying the fugitive to his trial. As they make their way through the Alaskan wilderness, tensions rise and trust is tested as not everyone on board is who they say they are. Mel Gibson has directed only five feature films since his debut The Man Without a Face in 1993. He often takes long breaks between films; Hacksaw Ridge was released seven years ago. By the time Gibson arrived at Flight Risk, he was already in pre-production on The Passion of the Christ: The Resurrection, the sequel to his 2004 blockbuster. Pilot: Need a Pilot?
