As we prepare for House of the Dragon, we’re reminded of the brilliance that Game of Thrones once was. Seasons 1-6 are truly exceptional television—The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Wire, the best of the best.

Season 7 was subpar but still enjoyable, and then came season 8, which was a disaster of epic proportions

A rushed, underwhelming, weak ending, and a slap in the face to fans young and old alike. That said, nothing can take away from the wild, brilliant, and emotional adventure that is Seasons 1-6 of Game of Thrones, the TV show that defined a decade and changed pop culture forever.

I like to believe it was canceled after Season 6 and we never saw the real ending 😉
