Chronology

The eighth entry in the long-running Mission: Impossible franchise.. Production on parts 7 and 8 was scheduled to be shot back-to-back. This changed after filming of part 7 was completed due to Tom Cruise having to leave for promotions for the Top Gun sequel.. The final.. follows Nemoguća misija (1996). The Mission: Impossible theme was written by Lalo Shifrin
