It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa. Both Dennis Leary and Ray Romano appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present).

The show is a slow-burn mystery romp that may not be for everyone

It was surprising to see the show underrated, but after seeing so many reviews, it explains why they didn’t come back after the first episode. I personally find it funny and entertaining with a special touch from Liz Feldman.

I really like the cast and everyone’s performances

I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano at first because of my own biases (I couldn’t separate him from Everybody Loves Raymond for the rest of my life), but that quickly wore off. All the different characters have their own subplots and it creates a tangled web that gradually, if not completely, unravels.

I’m not mad about it though

Even though the main plot was set up so quickly, I was pretty invested in the story by the last episode. I’d love to see more of this show and I hope they get a second season.
