Featured in Geeks + Gamers: Sonic 3- Trailer Reaction (2024). Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is by far the best of the trilogy. Better writing, better characterization, great humor, and Keanu Reeves is a treat as Shadow. This movie is different from the first 2, especially in the tone of the movie, this movie is a soulful adaptation of Sonic Adventure 2 and they handled it better than I ever thought they would. The depiction of Shadow’s past is incredibly beautiful, not to mention his impeccable CGI model, I was so impressed with his appearance. Jim Carrey was hilarious as usual, an absolute treat for our franchise, he was hilarious as Ivo & Gerald. Ben Schwartz, Colleen & Idris shone brighter than ever. As a huge Sonic fan this movie lived up to my expectations, what a feel it is to be a Sonic fan! Easily one of the best parts of Sonic history. 9/10.
