The Day of the Jackal is every bit as good as advertised. The series is about an elite sniper assassin (Eddie Redmayne) who goes by the nickname The Jackal.

He’s offered a job that’s so worthwhile he can retire from the business, but the job is risky, especially with a ruthless British intelligence officer named Bianca (Lashana Lynch) hot on his heels. She pursues him across Europe as he tries to carry out his mission.
There are plenty of casualties along the way as these two butt heads
Their personal lives begin to collide with work as they begin to realize other forces are pulling the strings. Although some parts are stretched out so they can make it to 10 episodes, there’s plenty of action and drama to keep you entertained throughout the series.
