Chronology

Delia Balmer, a nurse at the agency, met Sweeney, who confessed to killing his ex-girlfriend. Balmer rebuilt her life to confront Sweeney seven years later, after he was arrested for another murder.

The bodies were dumped in canals in Rotterdam (not Amsterdam) and London. This short series left me speechless, it simply blew my mind!

Once you start watching, you won’t be able to stop!

Not only because of the great actors and performances, but also because of how well the story is told, realistic, very strong and at times uncomfortable and frustrating. The first two episodes are the most intense and brutal.

Actress Anna Maxwell, as Delia, is simply magnificent!

She acts with such strength, power and realism, I can’t imagine anyone better, she is simply perfection! The series reflects on the protection systems that are set up around victims of abuse, and it holds those who should contribute to ensuring their safety accountable.

Don’t miss this one!

The plot is very well structured, marking each of the episodes as important stages in the development of events, and they look very deeply into personal obsessions. It’s an extremely solid British true crime production that will keep you on the edge of your seat thanks to the excellent performances.
